Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath has confirmed the state has one new locally acquired COVID-19 case and one case in hotel quarantine.
The four-year-old girl who attended the Boulevard Early Learning Centre at Mount Warren Park in Logan was announced late on Friday.
She is a close contact of a 46-year-old truck driver who tested positive on Thursday.
The second case is a returned traveller in hotel quarantine.
