The Gen 2 Mobile Connector is included with each Tesla for charging the car (and can be purchased for $300). Mine lives outside and after about 9 months and a cold winter, the button stopped working on the handle. A few weeks later, it stopped charging completely.
Tesla replaced the UMC under warranty so I investigated the problem on the old unit.
