Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was set to campaign in Arizona for a final time on Saturday as the 2024 presidential race enters its final days. Walz for the second Saturday in a row will visit the Grand Canyon State, where he’ll deliver a closing argument for the Democratic presidential ticket just days before votes are tallied on Nov. 5.
More than 1.2 million Arizonans have already cast their ballots in the historic election between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Walz will campaign across the state during his Saturday visit, arriving at 12:15 p.m. in Flagstaff for a 1 p.m. campaign event before flying south to Tucson for a 4:30 p.m. rally. The Harris-Walz campaign declined to share the venues where Walz will appear.
Harris and Trump each traveled to Arizona on Thursday to rally supporters for a final time before Nov. 5. Harris encouraged voters to turn the page on the Trump era at an outdoor rally and concert. Meanwhile, Trump rehashed the political dramas that defined his 2016 victory and presidential term during an arena tour appearance with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson
