The people of the East Riding of Yorkshire were out in force yesterday as the county hosted an entire stage of the Tour of Britain
Stage three of the prestigious cycle race, The Howdens Stage: Goole To Beverley, drew a huge crowd in Goole's town centre before racing through towns and villages such as Howden, Market Weighton, Driffield, Bridlington and Hornsea, and finishing on Beverley Westwood.
On a gloriously sunny September day, crowds lined the streets to cheer on the riders and soak up the atmosphere of the stage, which was won by Dutchman Olav Kooij.
