The Arbaeen Walk from Najaf to Karbala is a profound spiritual journey undertaken by millions of pilgrims each year. Covering approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles), this pilgrimage commemorates the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS). Despite the scorching temperatures, often reaching 50°C, pilgrims walk for 2-3 days, driven by their devotion and faith.
