This is an advance carving project of me making a Dancing Polar Bear from black Manitoba soapstone. This video was brought to you by "Liogier" Makers of the finest hand stitched rasps and rifflers. The reason riffler and the spur used in the video were blue is because they have the sapphire finnish making them last extra long. The sapphire finish makes them stay sharper longer and it keeps the rasps from pitting from the acid in your hands (highly recommended). This project took about 6 hours of carving and about an hour and a half of sanding.
The Liogier tools used in this video were:
Riffler for stone #6 with sapphire finish
Spur with sapphire finish
