Stage 2 took the riders to the Witzenberg valley down an old ox wagon trail that boasts fast, winding single-track and jeep track descents. The climb of the day was a very steep and challenging rise through an old pine forest and a brand new section, aptly named “Hole in the Wall” was the highlight of the stage.
Toyota SA Specialized Bicycles took the stage win and will start stage 3 in the FIRST ASCENT yellow jersey.
