For the King family, having a child that is nonverbal and a wanderer has presented many challenges including constant stress to make sure Owen is safe. This leaves little time for other activities.

The King's had a smart home system installed and the features of that smart home allow them to keep better tabs on their child. The door chimes on the front door and Owen's door let them know when he's on the move.
