EDIT: The case has been dropped and the video has been restored! [ Ссылка ]
The name of the game is "I'm looking for 3024 People" by Bakodun Game Studios.
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION BELOW
In case you were wondering what happened to my video "Give me $40,000: The Video Game", it's been copyright claimed by the developer. No, not because it is copyright infringing. Instead, the developer has decided to weaponize the #DMCA feature on YouTube to silence anyone attempting to show the sorry excuse for a "game" he's trying to sell. And so far, it's worked. Seems more like a #scam than a game, if he needs to silence criticism, right?
But I won't stand for this type of behavior, and any developer willing to abuse the legal system to silence legitimate criticism of their game deserves to face consequences.
The question is, will they? So far, the game has been reported to #Steam dozens of times yet it still remains. SidAlpha (who you should totally subscribe to!) has also covered this as well, and through working with him, we have discovered a history of sketchy and suspicious moves from this developer.
What happens next? Until a lawsuit is officially filed, nothing. But, even if the developer decides to back down and reinstate my video, nothing will change. He won't be punished for abusing the DMCA takedown feature, and the game will still remain on Steam, despite him breaking the site's Terms of Service by manipulating review scores and selling a game with questionably sourced assets.
Thanks for watching!
