Feeding 100 Children a Day | Medellín, Colombia
[ Ссылка ]
"Emmanuel" is a friend and family oriented children's soup kitchen found in the neighborhood of Santo Domingo, Medellín, Colombia. Each day roughly one hundred children visit the soup kitchen in order to receive what may be their only proper meal in the day. Run by Sneider and several caring women from the neighborhood, Emmanuel has created a loving and safe environment devoted to not only feeding the children of the community but also instilling values, morals, and love from and early age. Currently, Emmanuel is solely funded by a few generous individuals who have graciously committed to donating each month in order to keep the kitchen running. To ensure the growth and sustainability of this program, we are reaching out to you in hopes of receiving any contributions you are capable of offering. With proper funding, first and foremost we will be able to guarantee daily meals for the children in the community, furthermore, we would love to eventually be able to provide adequate clothing, improve the facilities, and even provide gifts on special occasions such as Christmas. We have also begun an English program for the children run entirely by volunteers. We hope you will consider contributing to this humble organization and the futures of these incredible kids! Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or interest in volunteering opportunities!
