Pretty easy. A lot have trouble with it. You just press the D Pad in the direction the words(memories) appear with the X button at the same time. The Jecht Shot is a great shot for Tidus because it knocks away 2 defenders but it takes a lot of time from the clock. It's also required for Jecht Shot II.
