Wednesday, 3rd February 2010. Mumbai, India. Russell Gilchrist, Practice Leader, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, Chicago presents at the 2010 Mumbai Conference. High rise buildings present opportunities for passive and active sustainable strategies that are not so readily available to their less tall counterparts. This presentation demonstrates through Skidmore Owings & Merrill's current project work how such strategies can be integrated into buildings to offset energy demand from the grid and promote high quality work and living environments. Projects discussed include Pearl River Tower in Guangzhou, China and Digital Media City in Seoul, South Korea.
