The aptly named Devil’s Waltz and Angel’s Tango are the first two duets in a three-part series composed by Steven Verhelst written for Martin Schippers and Tomer Maschkowski. Devil’s Waltz was released in 2014 and was very well received by the trombone community. The second duet, Angel’s Tango was just released in November of 2020.

This performance was recorded April 4, 2021, at Indiana University as part of Sam Bowers and Ryan Liu’s freshman bass trombone recital.
