Kediri Regency has so many historical places, cultures and statues. One of them is a status of a giant with a terrifying face called Thothok Kerot. This status is located in Bulupasar Village, Pagu District, Kediri regency.
The face and other ornaments suggest that it was a representation of a female "Buto".
Local traditions connect the Thothok Kerot Statue with the character in the folktales.
