The first flight of British Airways to Madeira after the lockdown was not easy. The flight BA2780 previously flew from London Gatwick was swapped to Heathrow due to the decreasing of BA operations at Gatwick, That gave us the chance to catch for the first time the A320 NEO with British Airways colours in Madeira.
The first approach was made to high, ending up in a go-around, despite the perfect weather conditions. At the second attempt, the landing was great. The flight BA2781 went back to Heathrow.
