First we have Eataly selling everything Italian, then we have Le District selling everything French. Now we have Japan Village selling everything Japanese. Single-cuisine focused food halls have no doubt been dominating New York City's food retail landscape in the past few years - the latest addition being "Japan Village" taking up a 20,000 sq ft space in Industry City located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. It opened up for business (soft opening however) on Nov 24, 2018 so let me take you in for a tour at this massive Japanese food hall.
