This session explores smart city developments in South Korea. The national strategy for smart cities seek to solve urban problems and enhance economic and industrial innovation. The four speakers will explore the trends and issues facing smart city development in South Korea through the cases og Seoul, Busan and Songdo City. Furthermore, we will explore South Korea’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the use of smart technologies.
