After a few days of really cold weather, headed up to Dartmoor for a short hike up to the two highest tors.
Initially planned to park at the base of West Mill tor, but it was a little too icy to get all the way up, so just parked before it got steep and walked the rest of the way, along the army tracks up to the ridge that runs between these two tors.
A very short walk by usual standards, but absolutely stunning seeing the north moor with a blanket of snow, and low lying clouds and fog in the valleys, with just the higher tors poking out.
Very little wind & surprisingly warm in the sun, despite temperatures definitely being sub zero!
