After 40+ years, the rear view mirror on your classic Cougar or Mustang is probably looking pretty tired. The silver gets tarnished, and the only way to bring it back to life is to either buy a new repro mirror, or to remove your original mirror lens, have it re-silvered, and install it back into the original holder.
Luckily, we're offering an exchange-based mirror restoration service at West Coast Classic Cougar. You can send us your old lens, and get a restored one back for around $50. Keep in mind that any imperfections on the glass surface will remain, because the silver is applied to the back side of the lens.
If you'd rather not go through the process of removing and re-installing your lens, or if yours is missing, broken, or in bad shape, we also sell a Grade "A" original mirror assembly with a re-silvered lens already installed. We have all styles of mirrors from 1967-1973 for the Mercury Cougar, most of which are interchangeable with other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.
