one of the questions I receive often is how I make my stir-fried veggies and honestly I’ve put off making any videos about them bc 1) they’re rarely very aesthetic 🫣 and 2) making them is so engrained that it’s almost harder to explain than something more complicated? anyways, this is hands-down our favorite way to cook napa cabbage (the savory umami of the dried shrimp! the aromatic peppery bite of white pepper!) and we hope you love this one too!! let me know if you’d like to see more veggie stir-fry vids ☺️
to make:
wash cabbage and cut into ~3/4 inch thick pieces
heat up neutral oil in a pan over medium heat and add in dried shrimp (optional - soak dried shrimp in shaoxing cooking wine to remove fishiness)
once fragrant, add in napa cabbage and give it a stir, add in shaoxing wine + water and let it simmer until softened
once tender, season with salt and white pepper powder
