After firmware conversion of MIB2 Technisat unit (VW Discover Media firmware upgrade from P02xxT to P04xxT) I've noticed audio channels mixup. When using fader & balance function it looked like left and right side were inverted. As a quick fix I decided to re-pin the #QuadLock connector to have the sound going though proper channels.
I've used dashboard removal tools to slide out MIB2 unit from the glovebox, undone the QuadLock connector, removed yellowish connector from the assembly, unlocked the terminals by removing purple lock, and used terminal removal tool to release individual #speaker pins.
ℹ️ Most likely my issue could be fixed with proper dataset and parameterization of the 5F unit. As stated above - I've decided to go with the quick and dirty #fix.
🚗 Vehicle in the video is 2015 Volkswagen Golf MK7 with factory fitted MIB2 Discover Media infotainment system.
