The murder trial of soccer star, Senzo Meyiwa has been postponed to Tuesday, 12 April 2022. This is after accused number five, Sifikule Nkani Ntuli's counsel told the court they had not been able to consult ahead of the trial. Adv Zandile Mshololo said the state had released new information less than two weeks ago. Adv George Baloyi responded, saying this was done for the security of witnesses, who are in a protection programme. Ntuli is one of five accused, facing charges for the death of the Bafana Bafana captain in October 2014.
