A story about 70 years old Rovaniemi based RoPS (Rovaniemen Palloseura) soccer team in the hometown of Santa Claus in Lapland, Finland.
This feel-good docuseries (3 x 35-40 min) follows Santa's football team RoPS, the European Union's northernmost professional football club, and its fans in Finnish Lapland as they face hard times in Veikkausliiga, the Finnish Premiere League. This is a story about the local football community reflecting on their values and the true meaning and values of football. This series is inspired by Sunderland A.F.C. supporters and by the Finnish football documentary "Jalkapallomaa" (Land of Football), which is telling the story of FC Lahti's supporters.
