Independence ended white colonial oppression and exploitation only to be replaced by black elite oppression and exploitation working in conjunction with their new yellow colonial masters.

Some of the more obvious and insidious modern day slavery is the denying of the ordinary people the right to own property. The whites denied blacks the right to hold title deeds to even one or two acres of land on which their home stead is build. The white feared that giving black title deeds will be the thin end of the wedge, they would be demanding the right to vote next. After independence Zanu PF has too denied rural folk title deeds for the same reason!
Zanu PF rigged the 2023 elections and it is no surprise the regime considers rural areas its political stronghold for no other reason than that the regime has kept them poor, ignorant and fearful of the party. Rural voters are nothing more than the medieval serfs beholden to the overbearing Zanu PF ruling elite and their proxies!
The day the rural folk have title deeds to even a few acres of land will be the day they are truly and finally independent and free from the modern slavery.
