When you ride your dirt bike next to a living legend, it can really humble you and make you look bad. Terrible, actually. It’s okay though! One of my favorite parts about this trip was when my buddy Scott mentioned that riding with Graham Jarvis made him realize that he doesn’t really have much “technique”, he just has “balls and throttle”. We laughed hard when he mentioned that, but how true it was for all of us. Compared to Graham, we were all novices and lacked any real technique. Sure, there were some good riders in our group. On whole, we were certainly a group of above average riders with only a few exceptions. Having said that, compare us to Mr. Jarvis and we were a laughing stock.
We did have fun though...
