If you've watched my introduction you already know that my gateway whisky was Ardbeg 10, but unfortunately I don't currently have it at home so in this video I'm trying Ardbeg An Oa instead as by first tasting video!
It has lovely notes of bonfire smoke, fresh pine trees, a salty sea breeze together with banana, citrus and juicy tropical sweetness.
Ardbeg An Oa - Non Age Statement - 46.6% - matured on several cask types - including Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, virgin charred oak, and 1st fill ex-bourbon casks.
