STORYLINE
Serbs go to the polls on Sunday in the first round of presidential elections. The contest pits the incumbent Vojislav Kostunica, a Serb nationalist who favours a slow approach to liberalising the country against his chief rival, Miroljub Labus - who wants closer integration with Europe and a quick transition to capitalism. The race is close and with 11 candidates is expected to go to a second round in two weeks.
