ASUS is currently distributing an update to the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL). This software upgrade will install the ZenUI 4.0, an improved version of the proprietary skin developed by the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer. ZenUI 4.0 includes a new user interface design that follows the minimalist trend with its cleaner appearance. ZenUI 4.0 takes advantage of artificial intelligence and image recognition in order to organize images captured by the handset’s camera. Since the sorting of images is done directly on the smartphone, the user saves bandwidth since there is no need for images to be uploaded first to a cloud-based service before it is organized. The Safeguard functionality, on the other hand, makes it easy for people to call the emergency services and share their current location with their loved ones through the new Report Location feature.
