This video shows how I run the GoldiBox (Model/Design #5)

This is the GoldiBox Fluid Stream Sluice (#5) and it's one of my favorite designs. It is a medium size fluid sluice box for gold prospecting. It is 22.5" in length. It comes complete with an inline classifier and printable indicator matting. The GoldiBox Fluid Sluice can handle quite a bit of material and when you're done processing you are only left with heavies and concentrates (i.e. black sand & gold) in the trap.

This version is loosely based on a Recon sluice I use to own but unfortunately, that got washed away. So instead of buying another, I designed this. Simple to set up and operate, this version recovers coarse gold as well as fine flour gold. It has been extensively tested for the past 3 years and works well. It can process about 4-5 buckets per hour depending on the type of material you're feeding it. For muddy or clay laden material, the classifier is very convenient as it allows the water flow to break up the material without washing it straight out the sluice. All gold pics are of gold that was recovered by the GoldiBox in Butte Creek. (Magalia, CA) - less than 2 miles from home.
