Open PowerPoint.
Go to Insert tab. Click on Audio and choose Audio on My PC. Select the audio you need and click on Insert.
Click on Trim Audio at the top panel. Move the pointers to select the part of an audio you want to keep. Click Ok.
If you want to edit the trim, click on Trim audio. You will still have the whole audio you can trim.
