Let’s talk about Canada’s real estate market.
Rising housing costs and investors dominate Canada’s real estate market and patterns of migration across the country have begun to shift.
U-Haul is one company tracking this movement and, in 2021, it noted that more people moved to Alberta than any other province — kicking B.C. out of the top spot — all while housing supply is decreasing and demand is increasing.
In this Community Engagement webinar, hosted and moderated by Chancellor Deborah Yedlin, panellists discussed Canada’s housing bubble, including the rising cost of housing, why investors are surpassing homeowners, the migratory patterns of Canadians, and how Alberta is attracting and maintaining residents through it all.
