DEBATE : In or out of Europe? On Tuesday the UK parliament set Britain on its path to a referendum on EU membership within the next two years: a campaign pledge by the re-elected David Cameron. The prime minister, who's for remaining part of the EU, is being pressured to keep his promise to bring it all to a vote.
Why is a nation that a few years ago was talking about a referendum on joining the euro… now talking about leaving?
