Police have arrested a foreign man for allegedly breaking the windshield wipers of several parked vehicles at the Batu Pahat bus terminal yesterday.

Batu Pahat police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said the 25-year-old suspect was apprehended after his actions went viral on social media.

He said in a statement that police investigations, based on the video footage, revealed the incident occurred at approximately 3.30pm.

Acting on the information received, police from the Motorcycle Patrol Unit successfully arrested the suspect on the same day for further investigation.

He said that during the arrest, a penknife was found in the suspect's backpack.
