Great for small dogs
I purchased this due to my little 5 month old yorkie breaking her leg after she fell off the back of the couch fight with her sister. She required an orthopedic surgeon because the break occurred at a growth plate. The vet said basically no movement for 4 weeks which seemed impossible for a puppy!!! This worked perfect!!!! I had enough room for her bed, a little area for food and water, and a place for a puppy pad. I did line the pen with whelping pads first. And yes I did sleep next to her the first couple of nights because I felt so guilty that I turned away right as she fell :( We ended up naming it the puppy jail, only cuz eventually she would stand on her back feet and have her front feet on the side.
