The company filed for Title 11 bankruptcy in May 2024 and has since closed nearly 130 restaurants across 31 states. This week 23 places in Illinois, Minnesota and California are expected to have their locations shut down for good. Red Lobster has closed these restaurants due to a rise in labor costs and the company's "endless" seafood deals.
