Beans Stir Fry Recipe | Andhra Style Beans Fry | Beans Poriyal Recipe
Ingredients
- Beans - 1/2kg
- Chopped Onion - 3nos (medium)
- Mustard Seeds - 1tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4tsp
- Sambar Powder - 2tsp
- Salt to Taste
- Curry Leaves Few
- Roasted Peanut Powder - 2tbsp
- Oil - 2tbsp
- Coriander Leaves Few
- Water - 1/2cup
Method
1) In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Allow mustard seeds to pop. Add chopped onion and saute till light golden brown. Add crushed garlic and saute a minute.
2) Add chopped beans and stir fry 2-3minutes and add water. Cover and cook for 10minutes on medium flame. Stir in-between.
3) Add turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt. Mix well and fry 2-3minutes. Close and cook for 10minutes or untill beans cooked well.
4) Add roasted peanut powder and raost a minute. Finally sprinkle coriander leaves and turn-off stove.
5) Serve as sidedish for rice, roti, etc
