This video is of the castle of Telpador in Dragon Quest V SFC. Telpador is a desert city located in the southern area of the world map.

Telpador continues the tradition of desert cities with a female ruler. Isis in Dragon Quest III is of the same type as well as a city in Dragon Quest IX. In the DS remake, Telpador is known as Helmunaptra, a more Egyptian sounding name.

The hero meets with the queen who asks him if he would like to try on the Zenithian Helm. The hero tries it, but it does not fit him. The queen keeps the helmet safely there in the vault awaiting the true hero to come and claim it.

Telpador is an optional location as it does not have any significant plot function until later in the game. Even then, it's sole purpose is to be the location for the Zenithian Helm.
