Topic: Improving Medical Imaging and Diagnostics Through AI-powered Imaging Systems
Abstract:
The rise in artificial intelligence, particularly in machine learning and deep learning, has led to considerable interests in its application to clinical decision support. However, there are a number of operational challenges to widespread adoption of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. Motivated to tackle these challenges, we explore in the direction of end-to-end co-design of instrumentation and artificial intelligence in unison to create AI-powered medical imaging systems that provide new insights into a patient's medical conditions
