This is what you can expect, when you visit the Strasbourg Christmas Market in the beautiful Alsace region of France.

There are many great xmas towns in the Alsace region, but Strasbourg is commonly referred to as the "Capital of Christmas."

Half timbered houses and cobblestone streets give you that old time fairytale atmosphere. How old you ask? Dating back to 1570, Strasbourg’s Christmas market is the oldest in France and one of the oldest in all of Europe.

This video goes over our recent trip to the "Christmas Capital" where we visited the St John's Church, Castle Square, and even took a river cruise around the whole city.
