In this Toilet Travels video we explore if pumice stone will damage or scratch your toilet. Pumice stones are a lightweight, volcanic stone that works much like sandpaper. Be careful not to use pumice stone on a toilet seat or lid (it will scratch). But pumice stones work great to get rid of build up in a toilet bowl. Make sure to get the pumice stone wet before using so there is less friction with the bow. It's also wise to scrub the bowl with the toilet brush first. If you can wait a few hours, let vinegar sit in toilet bowl before you use the pumice stone. Vinegar will loosen the toughest stains and make the pumice stone work more effectively.
