It was the first of three Christmas Late Night Shopping evenings in Helston town centre organised by Helston Chamber of Commerce. Shops along Meneage Street and Coinagehall Street welcomed shoppers. And to kick off the evening, Nansloe Academy Children’s Choir performed traditional Christmas carols by Grylls Monument with a welcome by Santa and Mayor of Helston Tim Grattan-Kane. While Gareth Looker thanked sponsors and presented the schedule of events. Santa and the Mayor then moved up Coinagehall Street and called into 42 The Living Room where magical storytelling was happening for the young ones. Santa then visited Fisherman’s Mission who held their annual Children’s Christmas presents wrapping evening.

Christmas Late Night Shopping 2022 in Helston was held on the last three Fridays in December – 9, 16 and 23 December 2022 form 5pm til late.
