Marlon Wayans, the comedian and actor, has been deeply affected by the loss of his parents.
His mother, Elvira, passed away in 2020, and his father followed in March 2023. Marlon described the pain as breaking him into pieces, leading to depression. However, he found inspiration in his mother’s teachings: “She taught me to take my broken heart and turn it into art.”
