Qualification and Experience
Dr Helil Coskun is an experienced bariatric surgeon. He is currently working at the Liv Hospital Ulus, Istanbul, Turkey. He specialises in Obesity Surgery, Metabolic Surgery (Diabetes Surgery) and Laparoscopic / Robotic Surgery. He obtained his medical education from the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He then went on to pursue general surgery at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine Department. He even served at the Weill Cornell Medical School in Diabetes Surgery.
Contribution to Medical Science
Dr Helil Coskun has been a part of many articles published in renowned medical journals around the world. He is also a member of medical societies such as IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Metabolic Disorders), SAGES (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons), TOSS (Turkish Obesity Surgery Society) and the ELCD (Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery Association).
