Lingaa Tamil movie starring Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka in lead roles.
Lingaa movie stars Rajinikanth as a petty thief. Rajinikanth works along with Santhanam committing robberies. Rajinikanth's grandfather (also played by Rajinikanth) was the king of a village called Solaiyur under the British Rule. The people of Solaiyur want Rajinikanth to come back to the village to perform a special Pooja. Since Rajinikanth is angry with his grandfather for squandering away the family fortune, he is unwilling to go to Solaiyur. However circumstances force Rajinikanth to go to Solaiyur. Rajinikanth learns that his grandfather was a generous man who used all his money to build a dam for the village. When the dam comes under danger, Rajinikanth decides to keep his grandfather's Dam safe.
