African leadership is a social phenomenon; It influences societal development but also individual development and people’s perception of themselves in Africa.
This talks addresses looks at leadership in Africa and suggests that a new approach to leadership should be adopted by leaders, which would in turn transform the way in which African countries are governed.
Al Kitenge is a strategist and CEO of Innovation Task Force, which provides strategic analysis, planning and coaching for top decision makers. Al has holds a qualification in Public Policy & has a professional background in public policy and the private sector. He has embarked on international career with Unilever and is currently on the final stages of his book based on corruption within the continent.
Al is in the process of handing over his companies in order to focus more of his time & efforts towards the creation of local structures within D.R.C capable of providing and handling emergency responses to local disasters & crises.
