This fourth movie on the m/277 looks at using the m/277 as a “normal” VCA, patched after the oscillators and filter. Since the response of the high-gain m/277 is so non-linear – high levels are boosted even more; low levels are chopped down to 0 volts; this behavior changes depending on the Amplitude setting or incoming Amplitude CV – the effect of enveloping the filter before the VCA is exaggerated.
