Guys here we took a cruise trip along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok and went to the Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan or Wat Arun Temple. From there we also went to another Chinese Buddhist Temple which was just beside it.
Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple in the Yai district of Bangkok, Thailand. It is situated on Thonburi on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruṇa, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun. Wat Arun is among the best known of Thailand's landmarks. Although the temple has existed since at least the 17th century, its distinctive prang (spire) was built in the early 19th century during the reigns of Rama II and Rama III. Then we went to the Wat Pho Temple to see the largest Reclining Buddha in Thailand.
Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is on Rattanakosin Island, directly south of the Grand Palace. It is known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.
