Hi there..here is my first try of stingless bee (Trigona itama) eduction from a log hive to a box hive on 31 Dec 2017.
As a novice bee keeper situated in an urban area of Muar in the state of Johor, Malaysia, my interest in bees started a few years ago..it was only when I discovered these stingless bees or kelulut as it is known locally which suited my criteria that they were easy to breed and safe even with children around that I bought 2 hives from a supplier recently.

Now, I am trying to multiply my bee colonies using methods that I have learned online.

As can be seen, the bees are moving in and out from the box hive which is a modified OATH design. We will check the progress a few weeks later.
