Okay! Finally back from rain delays and Rachael being out of town, here is an update on the custom door project on the shuttlebus. What do you think? Did we pull off the illusion? Does it look like bus doors even though it's a steel-face commercial garage door?
ABOUT US AND THE CHANNEL
We are Rachael and Erika, and Morgan the Dog, and together 🏳️🌈 we have a 2000 Chevy Express 3500 cutaway van (shuttlebus) that was in Arizona from 2000-2021 (hence no rust at all!) and we bought it it with only 90K miles on May 26, 2021. Previous owner bought it cheap at an Arizona auction, removed the bus seats and insides, and sold it to us for a little profit (still cheap), and even drove it up to us in Minnesota for the cost of gas. We got a great deal on a nice old bus. We are converting it into a tinyhome/RV. We're doing this for many reasons, which we will share over time in our videos. Our website is [ Ссылка ]. Please comment on our videos with your thoughts. We love meeting others who are working on a shuttle bus, or on a Chevy Express van or any kind, and who share our values.
DISCLAIMER: We are not professionals in any way related to the work shared on this channel, and everything we demonstrate on this channel should be taken as entertainment only. Because we are professionals in other parts of life, we do research specifications, and hire licensed experts to work on things that require licensure (i.e. the AC system - that's being done by a speciality shop). All work that we DIY is work that we complete using OEM parts or supplies that have been manufactured for RVs, whenever possible, so that we know that all materials we use in our #shuttlebusconversion have been manufactured for their intended usage, are safe, and will be durable.
Lots of people have asked us to share what we're doing, hence this channel. Welcome! #shuttlebus #vanlife #shuttlebusconversion #chevyexpress #themorganexpress #shorts #dogsinvans
