I3-4-BLUE-GROWTH is a capacity-building and investment project preparatory action aimed at promoting interregional cooperation for innovation and investment projects in high-priority and value-added markets of the blue economy sector. Funded by European Union under Project ID 101133055.
The capacity-building programme integrated under I3-4-BLUE-GROWTH will equip regional stakeholders and SMEs with technical, business, and investment readiness expertise based on knowledge exchange by experts on the selected topics and it will provide them with exemplary best practices and advances in the target sectors. The project focuses on two specific value chains: a) sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, and valorisation of blue resources; 2) Renewable Marine Energy and maritime decarbonization aiming to transferring knowledge and good practices.
Session 1: Fisheries and sustainable aquaculture - Regional Growth Challenges and opportunities:
- Technological solutions for transfer and indirect R&D&I business investment;
- Promotion of product (agri-food or high value) development and services;
- Scale sustainable aquaculture production.
